Far Cry 3 gets unexpected 60fps boost on modern consoles

Ubisoft is giving one of its most iconic shooters a new lease on life, as Far Cry 3: Classic Edition has officially received a free 60FPS update for current-gen consoles on January 21. Announced through a new trailer released by Sony, the patch brings smoother performance and refreshed visuals to the 2012 classic, letting returning players and newcomers experience Vaas’ island with modern fluidity.
