Expeditions: A MudRunner Game is a new type of experience

The creators of MudRunner and SnowRunner are back with a new video game, Expeditions: A MudRunner Game, a title that focuses on exploration and offroad driving. The game leaves aside the realistic simulation that made its predecessors popular to offer you a different type of experience that has nothing to do with transporting goods across long distances. Instead, Expeditions: A MudRunner Game lays at your feet for you to explore a vast open world representing areas of the Carpathians, Colorado, and Arizona. Alongside a team of specialists, you can embark on thrilling expeditions with a variety of objectives that you need to complete as you explore these areas.

The perfect experience

Expeditions: A MudRunner Game leaves aside overly realistic driving simulation mechanics and physics to deliver a more user-friendly experience. Still, the missions can be very difficult, especially if you decide to ignore the wide range of technologies available that would make your life easier, including the drones, the winch, the anchor, and more. Without these, you will have a much harder time when trying to cross a river or climbing your way over obstacles, which is something that you will have to do quite often in the wilderness. The game also offers you several types of vehicles to choose from, each of them with different capabilities. You need to choose the one best suited for each scenario.

An important part of your adventure in Expeditions: A MudRunner Game takes place before each mission. You need to plan your course and bring enough fuel and resources to accomplish your objectives. Also, unexpected side objectives may appear during the mission and force you to adjust your original plan. Being prepared is the key to success as you never know what will happen on a trip in the wilderness.

Overall, Expeditions: A MudRunner Game is a perfect game for the fans of the series but also for newcomers. Despite its limited content at launch, Saber Interactive is well known for expanding its games after launch it will be no different in this case. The roadmap for the first year after launch is already prepared and it includes new locations, gameplay mechanics, specialists, vehicles, and more.
