Epic Games’ Plans For Paragon
It looks like Epic Games are working hard, and they plan to work even harder in 2017. They plan to bring a lot of changes to their PS4 MOBA, Paragon. You can expect a new, revamped card system, new game modes, further development of the competitive play, and so on.
New card system and new game modes
Before we get into the new card system and new game modes, Epic games just said that they will stick to their "one hero every three weeks" system of releasing new heroes. Now, let's talk about the new card system. They didn't go into details, but they are redesigning the entire system right now so the cards can be more impactful and easier to use and understand.
They have two new game modes in development that they are experimenting with, one is a fast, short PvP mode that can be finished in 20 minutes or so, and the other one is a co-op PvE mode. They are testing them out and experimenting a lot, so don't expect the modes to stay as they are, they will probably change slightly or greatly.
Competitive play
Epic Games aren't too fond of rushed competitive play, so they are taking their time to learn more about it. They are going to release competitive play in stages in the first half of 2017, so that they can get player feedback and improve the system. When they get the hang of it, they will release a full Ranked Mode that will offer hardcore competitive gameplay to their players.
Epic Games have a great plan for Paragon in 2017, and we can't wait to see how the game ends up after they complete all their plans!
