The Epic Games Store refreshed its giveaways this week with a three-game offer. This means the Felix the Reaper giveaway from last week has gone away. Replacing it are Zero Hour, Songs of Silence, and ScourgeBringer for PC gamers. As always, you have seven days to add the games permanently to your Epic Games Store library.
From the trio, Zero Hour is a tactical first-person shooter that has a focus on realism and methodical gameplay. The modern-day set title has players playing cooperatively to resolve various situations using team maneuvers and gadgets. Versus multiplayer is also an option, which offers various game modes for 5vs5 action.
Next lands Songs of Silence from developer Chimera Entertainment. This is a turn-based strategy game from 2024, which turns into a real-time tactics experience when in battle. The fantasy setting has players going through a campaign building armies and taking over kingdoms. It also includes skirmish maps for replayability, offering randomized battles and modifiers to customize the experience.
Lastly, ScourgeBringer is for anyone looking for fast-paced roguelike action. Its gameplay is touted as being "attacks only," where the protagonist, Kyhra, has no defensive mechanics to use against foes. The fluid controls are used for both platforming and the frantic combat system. Being a roguelike, every time players dive into the dungeons the experience will be shaken up as well. This is also being given away on Epic's mobile app starting today too.
Zero Hour, Songs of Silence, and ScourgeBringer giveaways on the Epic Games Store are live right now, and they will last until November 20. PC gamers can add the title to their library for no cost during the seven-day timeframe before the next freebies arrive. Speaking of the next giveaway, Zoeti is the incoming freebie on the same day.
As always, be sure to visit our free games page and keep an eye out for upcoming titles and special offers.
