Close to the Sun will be released on May 2nd!

Developed by the Italian studio Storm in a Teacup, and published by Wired Productions, Close to The Sun finally reveals its release date. Close to The Sun will be released on May 2nd on PC, exclusively on Epic Games Store, and a little later this year on Xbox One and PS4. Yes, it's still Epic who stakes the bet, and this time it is not a temporary thing. In a statement on the official site of the game, the team explains the reasons for this choice:

Our partnership with the incredible Epic Games team has not only accelerated the development process of Close to the Sun in terms of access to the Unreal Engine 4 engine, but has also enabled the incredibly talented Storm in a Teacup to showcase their collective talent, to offer a truly memorable and breathtaking first-person horror adventure!

For those of you who do not know Close to The Sun, this is a horror-oriented adventure game. The story takes place in 1897 aboard the Helios, a huge ship born from the mind of Nikola Tesla. The Helios is dedicated to research and acts in total independence, not dependent on any government, and bringing together the most brilliant scientists on the planet. You play as Rose, a young journalist that boarded the ship to look for her sister Ada. But nothing will be as planned. The ship is in distress, and a smell of decomposing flesh invades the hall, in which the word Quarantine is painted. You will have to discover what is going on aboard the Helios, exploring the ship, solving puzzles, and facing the dangers that await you there. Fortunately for you, a mysterious ally may help you in your task.
