Epic Games Store is giving away two more free PC games this week

The Epic Games Store has refreshed its weekly giveaway once again. If you've been meaning to expand your PC library without spending a penny, this week's lineup offers a nice mix of nostalgic adventure and psychological horror. Last week's Nova Lands and Tattoo Tycoon freebies have now been replaced by Echo Generation: Midnight Edition and Luto, both of which are available to claim and keep forever over the next seven days.

First up is Echo Generation: Midnight Edition, a turn-based adventure set in the 1990s that follows a group of kids investigating a mysterious crash that has turned their quiet hometown upside down. Along the way, you'll encounter strange creatures, aliens, talking raccoons, and plenty of supernatural mysteries.

Set in the sleepy town of Maple, the game blends nostalgic coming-of-age storytelling with light RPG mechanics and exploration. As the upgraded Midnight Edition, it also includes several quality-of-life improvements, such as enhanced visuals, a quest tracker, and a fast travel system to make exploring its quirky world much smoother.

If horror is more your thing, Luto is the second freebie this week. Developed by Broken Bird Games, this first-person psychological horror title traps players inside a house that refuses to let them leave, with each attempt at escape only leading to new mysteries and increasingly unsettling environments.

Rather than relying on constant jump scares, Luto focuses on slow-burning tension, atmospheric storytelling, and environmental puzzles while exploring themes including anxiety, grief, and depression. It's the kind of horror game that gets under your skin gradually rather than trying to shock you every few minutes.

The Echo Generation: Midnight Edition and Luto giveaways are available to claim until July 23 on the Epic Games Store. Don't forget to claim the games before the deadline - even if you don't plan on playing them right away, they'll remain in your Epic Games library permanently once redeemed. Once the promotion ends, the storefront will refresh once again with a new free game, which Epic has already confirmed will be Foretales.
