Although Exoprimal open beta gathered quite a few players and the experience was well worth their time it showed just a small fraction of what Capcom's new title will offer at launch. Players were only able to test several missions from the Dino Survival mode, Exoprimal will feature many different gameplay modes and options, and the developer has shed some light on them recently.
In Exoprimal, you will take the role of an Exofighter who is trying to stop a dinosaur invasion. These ancient beasts are invading our planet through portals that randomly appear all over the world. fortunately, the corporation Aibius has created an AI that is able to predict where they will appear, and this gives humanity a chance. You are one of the brave warriors in charge of fighting them and closing those portals alongside other Exofighters, equipped with cutting-edge technology weapons and armor.
Plenty of exciting features
Exoprimal is an online, team-based FPS that pits players against dinosaurs in a variety of modes, and it will include the following features at launch apart from the Dino Survival mode:
- Missions without direct combat between players where victory is determined by clearing the PvE objectives as fast as possible
- Cutscenes and an Analysis Map where players can explore Exoprimal's story and the mysteries surrounding Leviathan and parallel worlds
- Story-related missions in Dino Survival
- 10-player co-op missions with a variety of objectives and even fiercer dinosaurs
- A variety of maps like Dam and Volcanic Base
- 5-player missions that rotate weekly with global leaderboards for fastest completion time
- Equipment called Modules that allow for deeper customization of exosuit capabilities
- Exosuit skins, weapon skins, decals, emotes, and other cosmetic options
- In-game medals and awards for completing certain challenges, like blocking a certain amount of damage as a Tank suit
Capcom will expand Exoprimal with post-launch updates that will add even more features, including exosuits variants, seasonal content, and crossover collaborations with other popular titles from the Japanese company.
