Here we are again with yet another update for Call of Duty Black Ops 4 on Xbox One, PC, and PS4. The title is getting a free map variant and a few new modes. The new map is called Arsenal Sandstorm, the most difficult and the most intricate map in the game by far. From the name itself, one could assume that it’s a version of Arsenal taken by a dangerous desert storm. This one up for free for all players. You must be fast on your feet and adapt to your surroundings well. Remember that the Arsenal has limited visibility, so you are bound to make short-ranged attacks. Strategize well and make sure to make it through the monstrosity called the desert. PS4 users are getting a new mode known as Deathmatch Domination, a mix between Deathmatch and Domination.
According to the developer, it’s a ‘first-of-its-kind mode for the Black Ops series’ where teams capture objective points and kill enemies to increase their score. While Deathmatch Domination is not available on Xbox and PC, they can have fun with Infected, previously exclusive to PS4 but that is now available on all platforms. In this map, infected players run around and attempt to infect the other survivors with their disease thus turning them to their side. Other important additions in the update are the balance tweaks and stability enhancements. There are some updates regarding weapon tuning as well, specifically the Rampart and the KN-57. The Collapse time in Alcatraz map has been doubled and there are many other minor changes.
