Rebellion is a video game developer that has been creating successful video games for a long time. The Sniper Elite series is probably the studio's most popular creation, including its latest installment, Sniper Elite: Resistance. However, the recent release of Atomfall may change this. This survival FPS offers a thrilling experience inspired by real-life events and allows players to explore the picturesque British countryside in the aftermath of a nuclear disaster that changed Northern England forever. According to Rebellion CEO Jason Kingsley, more than 1.5 million players have already visited the British countryside in Atomfall. The studio chose to take a different approach to the genre with the game and the result is quite positive.

The availability of Atomfall via Xbox Game Pass has probably contributed to making that number that big and the number of copies of the game may not be impressive. However, the game's growth in terms of players proves that it does appeal to quite a sizeable community and supports Rebellion's innovation. Atomfall has made the best debut in 32 years for Rebellion which is nothing triffle.
