Astrea: Six Sided Oracles is free for today on the Epic Games Store

The second day of the Epic Games Store's daily giveaway event has begun. From now until January 2, users of the Epic Games Store will receive new free games each day instead of on a weekly basis. This is a tradition during the holiday season, and this year it continues as expected. What remains unchanged is the process. The latest update has replaced Vampire Survivors with Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles.

Released in 2023, this game developed by Little Leo Games provides players with a distinctive deck-building experience that uses dice rather than cards. Players must navigate safe, balanced, and risky rolls when engaging with enemies, similar to what is found in other roguelikes.

There are multiple characters to choose from, each equipped with unique dice sets tailored for different tactics that suit your playstyle. Players must also manage their health bar, as using skills depletes it while dealing corruption damage whenever they are activated. However, this damage can be strategically utilized for corruption techniques, adding an extra layer of decision-making regarding when to take hits and when to play it safe.

Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles can now be claimed for free on the Epic Games Store. Normally priced at $24.99, the game is available to all PC gamers with an account for the next 20 hours. As usual, the next free game will remain a mystery until it becomes available at 8 am PT on December 21.
