New Game, Same Quirk

Revenge of the Savage Planet follows an anonymous explorer of the ruthless Kindred Technologies Group. Your character has a second chance to prove himself. Tasked to scan, capture and record strange alien life on dangerous alien worlds, he begins a bold mission that quickly turns into a personal mission against the company’s greed. This sci-fi action-adventure shifts from the original’s first-person to a third-person perspective, enhancing platforming and exploration across five distinct alien planets. Revenge of the Savage Planet takes its predecessor and cranks it up to 11. It builds on all the action, exploration, and platforming elements that made Journey so good to play.

Revenge of the Savage Planet now features five planets for players to explore, each with unique biomes. You will engage in activities like scanning flora and fauna, collecting resources, and crafting upgrades. Combat is dynamic, featuring an upgradeable pistol and inventive tools like a goo-spraying hose and a magnetic fork that turns metal objects into projectiles. The game supports both online and local co-op, with cross-play functionality across platforms. Co-op gameplay is seamless, thanks to a zone-based design that keeps players naturally tethered without disruptive rubber-banding.  

True to its predecessor, Journey to the Savage Planet, Revenge of the Savage Planet embraces a satirical tone, poking fun at corporate culture through humorous live-action video messages and emails found at your base.
