7 Days to Die is finally leaving Early Access after 10 years

7 Days to Die is a survival horror video game set in an open world developed by The Fun Pimps. It was released through Early Access on Steam for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X on December 13, 2013, and for Linux on November 22, 2014. With nearly 10 million copies sold over the past few years, 7 Days to Die has defined the survival genre, with unrivaled crafting and world-building content. 

Set in a brutally unforgiving post-apocalyptic world overrun by the undead, 7 Days to Die is a unique combination of first person shooter, survival horror, tower defense, and role-playing games. It presents combat, crafting, looting, mining, exploration, and character growth, in a way that has seen a rapturous response from fans worldwide.

On April 12, 2024, after over 10 years of development, The Fun Pimps are delighted to announce that 7 Days to Die is exiting Early Access with the launch of its next update, version 1.0:

"As 7 Days to Die transitions out of Early Access, The Fun Pimps have shared the launch dates for PC and Console Alpha 22 (now 1.0), the roadmap of planned future updates and features across all platforms, and the game's new pricing."

7 Days to Die version 1.0 Stable is scheduled for release in June 2024, with the Console version following in July, a few weeks after the PC 1.0 Stable launch. Here's a glimpse of the upcoming updates expected in the official release:
