Alcatraz will be yours to manage in the next Prison Architect DLC

Paradox Interactive has announced a new DLC for its prison building and management simulator Prison Architect. The developers already expanded the content in the game with Prison Architect - Psych Ward: Warder Edition, which added plenty of new features and tools specifically focused on the criminally insane. The content in the new expansion puts an emphasis on the location where the prison is situated instead of the inmates, but its theme will result quite interesting to the players since Prison Architect: Island Bound introduces two new maps inspired by one of the most popular penitentiaries in history: Alcatraz.

Many players have previously tried to build a representation of Alcatraz in Prison Architect before but now they have the opportunity to experience how it is to manage the iconic prison with two new maps: Alcatraz Prison and Alcatraz Island. Being on an island comes with plenty of new management options for you but also plenty of more opportunities for the inmates to make things more complicated for you. Your goal is to make the prison as secure as possible and you will have to control the access through docks and helipads in order to avoid contraband to be introduced into the facility. Air Paramedics, Elite Ops Teams, and Air Firefighters will be available in case of emergency to control any possible problems. Of course, Prison Architect: Island Bound also includes nautical themed customization options to add some flavor to your designs.

Prison Architect: Island Bound is coming PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch on June 11 but until it is released you can take advantage of the latest free content released for the game, Cleared for Transfer, which allows you to reward the inmates that behave properly by offering them privileges as a way of keeping them under control.
