Counter Strike is the reference for FPS games on PC. Released in 2004, ‘source’ is a remake of the original game. During several rounds, two teams: terrorists and counter-terrorists clash. Different characters are composing these two teams, members of the GIGN, SAS, Steal Team 6, and GSG9 for the counter-terrorists ; and Phoenix Connection, Gorilla Warfare, L33T Krew and Arctic Avenger for terrorists.
Each team has different goals to achieve: defuse the bomb and save the hostages for one, plant the bombs and hijack hostages for the other. All are obviously pretty well equipped with various weapons such as: pistols, SMGs, shotguns, assault rifles, sniper rifles and machine guns.
Despite all its years of existence, Counter Strike: Source is still one of the most acclaimed FPS by players.
