Veterum is set in an ancient land teeming with danger where a creeping apocalypse threatens to engulf everything. As the commander of the last remnants of the Gatekeepers, you must lead a diverse band of warriors  through treacherous terrain, fierce battles, and mysterious quests that will test your strategy and courage.

Explore an expansive, living world filled with secrets, hidden treasures, and unpredictable challenges. Wander freely across forests, mountains, and ruins, uncovering quests, rare artifacts, and dangerous creatures. You can follow the main story or carve your own path, shaping the world around you through exploration and action.

Combat in Veterum is deeply tactical. Battles unfold on a hex-grid, where positioning, unit facing, morale, fatigue, terrain, weather, and even lighting influence outcomes. Use the environment to your advantage; fell trees to create paths, freeze rivers to block enemies, build barricades, or ignite fires to manipulate the battlefield. Each unit has unique abilities, stats, and equipment, allowing for endless strategic combinations and approaches to victory.

No two playthroughs are ever the same. Procedurally generated missions, evolving city economies, and random encounters ensure each adventure feels fresh and unpredictable. Customize gameplay to your style by adjusting difficulty, hit chances, rewards, and health values. Veterum is built to challenge both your planning and adaptability.

For players who love creativity and community, Veterum offers tools to design your own units, maps, and quests, which you can share with others. This adds another layer of depth and replayability, letting you shape not only your experience but the experiences of fellow commanders.

Veterum delivers a dark fantasy adventure where every decision counts, and every journey is unique.
