Fight for freedom and drive your oppressors from your land in Cross of the Dutchman, a hack-and-slash RPG based on the life of the folk hero, Pier Gerlofs Donia.

The story takes place during medieval times, in 16th-century Frisia. While the people struggled to survive, Saxons have been invading and pillaging the villages in the province. One fateful day, Piers encounters these invaders, and the events quickly escalate into an all-out conflict.

Play as Piers and gather farmers under your banner. Train them into a fighting force and take the fight to the Saxons. Shatter chests and other destructibles to find gold, and use it to arm and strengthen your party.  Above all, explore the larger-than-life story of the seven-foot-tall Pier Gerlofs Donia and discover why he became such a renowned figure. Earn your legend in Cross of the Dutchman.
