How to activate a CD key on EA App?

1. Open the EA App: Launch the EA App client on your computer. If you do not have an account yet, create one for free on the official EA website, then download and install the app before logging in.

2. Access the activation option: Click on your avatar (profile icon) located in the top-right corner of the application window. From the dropdown menu, select "Redeem Code" (or go to the "My Collection" tab and click "Redeem Code").

3. Enter your CD key: Copy and paste your unique code into the dedicated input field, then click "Next" to validate your product.

4. Confirm and download: Verify that the displayed game matches your purchase and confirm. The game will immediately appear in your "My Collection" section, where you can start downloading and installing it.

How to activate your key on EA App

Key Type Verification:

• Region-Locked keys (Europe, US, etc.): Your Microsoft account must be set to the exact same geographical area as the key to allow activation.
• Regional Free keys (Global): These codes have no geographical restrictions and will work on any account, regardless of your country.

How to activate a CD key or code on Xbox Series X | S?

  1. Turn on your console, log into your profile, and open the Microsoft Store application from the Home dashboard or the Guide.

  2. Open the left sidebar menu (or press the "View" button on your controller) and select the "Redeem" option.

  3. Enter your 25-character CD key (hyphens will be formatted automatically), then select "Next".

  4. Confirm the activation. The title will immediately appear in your library, ready to download under "My games & apps" > "Full library" > "Owned games".

• Option B: Via a web browser (Alternative method)

  1. Go to the official Microsoft redemption website (redeem.microsoft.com) using your computer or smartphone.

  2. Sign in with the Microsoft account you use on your console. 

  3. Enter or paste your unique 25-character code and confirm. The game is instantly added to your account, and background download will automatically trigger on your Xbox Series X | S if "Sleep" power mode is enabled.
