Xbox reveals Forza Horizon 6 themed controller and wireless headset

With Forza Horizon 6 set to launch in under a month, Microsoft is marking the occasion with a special-edition controller and headset bundle inspired by the game’s style and atmosphere.

Much like the Forza Horizon 5 controller released in 2021, this new version features a transparent cyan shell, allowing you to see some of the internal components. It’s accented with pink, silver, and bright green details, along with a design element taken directly from the game’s map - specifically a Touge road, the narrow mountain routes in Japan often associated with the origins of drifting. On the back, the controller includes two-tone rubberized diamond grips for improved comfort during longer sessions.

Functionality remains consistent with standard Xbox Wireless controllers. It supports Bluetooth, Xbox Wireless, and USB-C connectivity, runs on two AA batteries with up to 40 hours of battery life, and includes a Share button along with a 3.5 mm audio jack.

Microsoft has also partnered with 8BitDo to release a matching charging dock. This accessory includes a rechargeable 1,100 mAh battery pack and a custom battery door with pogo pins, allowing for a full recharge in around three hours. The themed headset follows a similar design approach, both inside and out, and even includes custom sound effects for actions like powering on, pairing, and muting the microphone. It supports spatial audio and connects to Xbox consoles and PCs via Bluetooth LE.

Preorders for the Forza Horizon 6 Limited Edition accessories are now open. The controller is priced at $89.99 / 89.99€ / £84.99, the headset at $134.99 / 134.99€ / £124.99, and the charging dock at $34.99 / 34.99€ / £34.99, with all items set to release on May 19, 2026.
