Wolverine could finally resurface at PlayStation’s next State of Play

According to insider reports, PlayStation is preparing a new State of Play event for late September, and Wolverine is “almost certain” to appear with a brand-new trailer.

The game has had a turbulent journey so far. A damaging cyberattack in late 2023 leaked large portions of the project, including early gameplay footage, sparking concerns about its progress. Despite this, Insomniac reassured fans that development was moving forward, though no release window has been officially confirmed. Now, with insiders claiming the trailer is finished and ready to go, expectations are rising that Logan’s solo adventure could be targeting a 2026 launch.
