V Rising boasts impressive sales after one month
Not too long ago, we told you that V Rising sold one million copies, but that number keeps growing exponentially, and more than two million players have decided to embrace the life of a Vampire already. One month has been enough for Stunlock Studios to achieve great success with its indie survival action game. V Rising has proved that a game with a solid and well-designed gameplay experience can appeal to many players despite being in Early Access.
The game still has a long journey ahead, but a peak of over 150,000 concurrent players and 88% positive reviews is a result that encourages the developer to continue with the project. Rickard Frisegard, CEO of Stunlock Studios, has commented on the success of V Rising:
“We at Stunlock are very proud of the amazing start V Rising has made since launching on Early Access. Our goal is to make the best vampire game possible, and this is a clear indicator we are on the right path. We will strive to reward our players with a new, groundbreaking survival experience and also satiate any bloodlust.”
The key to the popularity of V Rising is its dynamic gameplay, heavily focused on survival mechanics with easy-to-grab concepts. You wake up from a long slumber in the game as a Vampire. You start by gathering resources to create basic armor and weapons while exploring the surrounding world. Soon, you will be working on building the center of your power, a castle that you can call home. As you grow in power by hunting powerful prey and feeding on them to gain additional vampiric powers, you also have to plan the construction of your castle, unlock new technology that gives you access to more tools and production facilities, and craft more powerful equipment and weapons.
With those features alone, V Rising would already deliver a thrilling experience, but if you choose to play on a PvP server, you can also forge alliances with other vampires and fight against them, adding a new layer of complexity and excitement into the mix. Overall, V Rising delivers a type of experience that many games in the genre would love for themselves, with very few flaws or bugs and the potential for boundless growth. If you are yet to discover the game, we highly recommend our comparator to find the best price for a V Rising Steam Key anytime.
