This Week's Video Game Releases - November 2025 (Week 48)

This week’s lineup of video game releases delivers one of the most varied mixes of genres in recent memory, spanning grand strategy, narrative thrillers, retro action, and competitive racing. From November 24 through November 30, players will have no shortage of new worlds to explore and battles to conquer.

November 24 - 30 releases

The week opens on November 25 with a heavy slate of titles. Stellaris: Infernals Species Pack invites players to reshape the galaxy with hellish new species designs, origins, and thematic events. For strategy fans rooted more firmly on Earth, Strategic Command: American Civil War – Concert of Europe expands the conflict by exploring how European powers might have influenced the historical struggle. Racing enthusiasts also have plenty to celebrate as Project Motor Racing makes its debut, accompanied by the Year 1 Season Pass, which promises a steady stream of new content. Rounding out the day is Captain Wayne – Vacation Desperation, a comedic escapade that transforms a simple holiday into a chain of puzzle-filled mishaps.

On November 26, the focus shifts toward action, mystery, and nostalgic charm. Detective Instinct: Farewell, My Beloved brings a noir-infused story of personal loss and complicated motives, placing investigation and choice at the heart of the experience. Fans of classic arcade-style fun can jump into Bubble Bobble Sugar Dungeons, a sugary twist on the beloved franchise with dungeon progression and cooperative play. The explosive combat of AFTERBLAST offers a high-energy alternative for those craving futuristic firefights. Meanwhile, Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord – War Sails introduces naval warfare, expanding Calradia’s horizons with ship combat and oceanic campaigns. The day closes with Terminator 2D: NO FATE, a retro-styled side-scrolling action game set in the iconic sci-fi universe.

November 27 brings two notable additions. Company of Heroes 3: Endure & Defy adds new missions, units, and a campaign centered on fierce defensive operations and decisive counterattacks. Alongside it, The Last Case of John Morley offers a more atmospheric experience, leading players through a brooding mystery set in a fog-covered town full of secrets.

The week wraps up on November 28 with contrasting but equally engaging releases. Ayasa: Shadows of Silence combines rhythmic combat, fast-paced movement, and a haunting soundtrack to craft a stylish action adventure. For something more casual, Yatzi 2 updates the classic dice game with new modes and multiplayer features, making it an easy pick for relaxed game nights.

Across these four days, players of every preference can find something to dive into. The final week of November delivers a memorable spread of new gaming experiences that mostly includes DLCs and smaller indie titles, offering players a brief respite before Christmas.
