Steam’s Pins & Pegs Fest brings bumper deals with discounts up to 90%

Steam’s Pins & Pegs Fest rolls out great deals on pinball, bowling and more

Steam really does have a festival for just about everything. After events celebrating board games, trains, hidden objects, social deduction, typing, oceans and even horses, Valve is now turning its attention to pins, pegs and everything in between.

The latest Steam Pins & Pegs Fest is now live, bringing discounts of up to 90% across hundreds of games and DLC. The event focuses on games featuring mechanics inspired by bowling, pinball, pachinko and similar arcade-style experiences. Valve has also paired the sale with one of its signature tongue-in-cheek trailers hosted by Kaci Aitchison, highlighting a selection of featured games while giving players a quick tour of what's on offer.

There are plenty of familiar names in the lineup. Peggle Deluxe is 80% off, while Shatter is discounted by 60%. Even newer releases such as Ballionaire have received substantial price cuts, giving players plenty of options to explore. This colorful roguelike puts you in control of a pachinko board, with more than 145 triggers and 55 boons available to create increasingly ridiculous combinations. Drop balls, trigger chain reactions and watch your earnings skyrocket as you build increasingly absurd setups.

One particularly interesting pick is Yoku's Island Express, which combines pinball mechanics with platforming and open-world exploration. You play as Yoku, a tiny postman who arrives on the tropical island of Mokumana only to discover that its ancient god is trapped in a restless sleep. From there, you'll explore the hand-painted world, unlock new abilities, tackle bosses and use pinball-inspired mechanics to navigate the island.

Embark on an exhilarating plunge into BALL x PIT, a high-octane fantasy roguelite that sends courageous heroes deep into a terrifying chasm to gain fame and fortune. Master the art of arcane ammunition, gather essential resources, and recruit fellow adventurers to conquer this exciting bullet hell roguelike quest.

Steam Pins & Pegs Fest runs until August 20 at 17:00 UTC, so there's only a short window to check out the deals. The next major event is PvE Survival Crafting Fest, running from August 31 to September 7, followed by Programming Fest from September 10 to September 14.

As always, if you’re looking to get the most value from your gaming budget, be sure to browse our dedicated deals hub for the latest offers.

There's nothing to say, the work looks professional. This is the kind of content that makes a good first impression right from the start.

Peggle is a spectacular game, whether you play it alone or against a friend. The games are very different, even when replaying the same maps, and it has a wide range of characters with different abilities, allowing you to set up the game differently each time. I never tire of playing it.

Habrá que echar un ojo a las ofertas que puedan salir en este festival, aunque la temática no me llame mucho
I'll have to take a look at the offers that might come up at this festival, even though the theme doesn't really appeal to me.

Steam has officially reached the point where even pinball and bowling get their own festival, and honestly I'm not complaining.
