Steam Hidden Object Fest is live now, don’t miss it before April 13

Steam Fest kicks off with hidden object games, demos, and big discounts

A new Steam Fest is now live, and this time the spotlight is on hidden object games. Running until April 13, the Steam Hidden Object Fest brings a mix of discounts, playable demos, and previews of upcoming titles for players to explore - if you can spot them, of course.

One of the standout deals is Escape Simulator 2, currently discounted by 20%. This sequel builds on the original with more immersive environments, complex puzzle design, and new creation tools, offering a deeper escape room experience for both veterans of the genre and newcomers alike.

There are also some incredibly cheap picks available, with a few titles dropping below the $1 / 1€ / £1 mark. Among them is A Building Full of Cats, now 50% off. This charming hidden object game tasks you with finding and petting every cat hidden throughout a quirky building. With over 360 cleverly concealed cats and light puzzle elements, it’s an easy recommendation for anyone who enjoys relaxing gameplay (or just loves cats).

Speaking of which, cats seem to dominate this particular fest. A surprising number of featured titles revolve around feline friends, including A Castle Full of Cats, Nippets: A Hidden Object Game, Hidden in My Paradise, A Building Full of Cats 2, Find Matt’s Cats, and more. Whether it’s because the internet can’t get enough of them or because they’re famously good at hiding, cats are everywhere in this event.

As with other Steam Fests, Valve has released an official trailer highlighting some of the featured games. It’s not just promotional - it also serves as a helpful starting point if you’re unsure where to begin, since the titles shown are linked directly in the video description.

The Steam Points Shop has also received a small update tied to the event, adding a few themed cosmetics such as an animated avatar, a matching frame, and a sticker.

Remember, the Steam Hidden Object Fest runs until April 13, 2026, so there’s limited time to browse the deals and try out demos. As always, be sure to check out our free games page as well, and keep an eye out for upcoming releases and exclusive offers.
