Nvidia's RTX 5060 Ti is set to launch on April 16th

Based on a report from HKEPC (via Videocardz), Nvidia is set to announce its RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti on April 15th, with the launch of the RTX 5060 Ti occurring the next day, April 16th. Unlike earlier RTX 50-series GPU releases, Nvidia will permit both MSRP and non-MSRP RTX GPU reviews to be published simultaneously. This means that assessments will be available starting April 16th.

The report indicates that Nvidia’s RTX 5060 (non-Ti) is expected to be released in May. Additionally, it states that Nvidia’s RTX 5060 Ti will come in both 8GB and 16GB versions.

If this information is accurate, Nvidia will announce and launch its RTX 5060 Ti within the same week. This could lead to a hectic scenario for tech and gaming media, as events are all happening in a narrow window. Moreover, having reviews and retail availability coincide on the same day is not considerate for consumers, as it won’t give early purchasers of the RTX 5060 Ti a chance to read any reviews prior to their purchase.

Reports suggest that Nvidia has postponed the launches of its RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti to ensure better stock availability on launch day. At this moment, it remains uncertain whether Nvidia will have adequate GPU stock to satisfy demand.
