Microsoft is showcasing 14 games at E3

In just a few more days, E3 2019 will be upon us. With everyone being excited about the event, all the gaming studios are now making their final preparations before the big show arrives. Microsoft is no different as Xbox boss Phil Spencer disclosed their final wrappings for the show. In a tweet, he said that they are bringing along 14 Xbox Game Studios' games to this year’s E3. Xbox Games Studios is Microsoft's first-party development studio that houses the likes of 343 Industries (Halo Infinite), Obsidian (The Outer Worlds), Playground Games (Forza), inXile (Wasteland 2), Rare (Sea of Thieves and Battletoads series), and many others. Most of these studios were acquired last year.

Just finishing our final E3 rehearsal here with the team in Redmond. Feel really good about the briefing. Lots to show. We have 14 Xbox Game Studios games in the show this year, more first party games than we've ever had in the show. Fun times. #XboxE3

This will be the first time that Microsoft is bringing so many first-party games to the show. Phil Spencer did not specify if all these games are all brand new reveals, so it´s likely that we’ve already heard about a few of the titles while the others are new. Several games have already been confirmed for E3 including Halo Infinite, Gears 5, and Wasteland 3. Gears Pop and the new Battletoads game might also make an appearance, but that is just an assumption. The company has already announced that they will have a lengthy presentation that will last for about two hours. Rumor says that Microsoft might also unveil at least one of their next-gen Xbox consoles this year. If this is true, that could be one of the most important announcements in this year's E3. The Xbox showcase conference for E3 2019 will start at 1 PM PDT on June 9th (Sunday), just be sure to check your time zone.
