Horizon Forbidden West would have a sequel

Not much time has passed since Aloy began her latest adventure with the release of Horizon Forbidden West, but it seems to be enough already for Guerrilla Games to consider adding another installment to the series. In an interview with VG247, Horizon Forbidden West creative director Mathijs de Jong has talked about the possibility of expanding the series while hinting at a new game. We wouldn't like to spoil too much of the story in Horizon Forbidden West for those that have not finished the game already, but his words leave it very clear  "...this game ends with another big cliffhanger, where we're setting up some things for the next game once again."

Those that accompanied Aloy during her epic journey in Horizon Zero Dawn are already used to that, as the story in the game also leaves quite a few questions without an answer. Those answers tie the game with its sequel while also bringing the opportunity of expanding an immersive open world that the fans love. Horizon Forbidden West does exactly the same. Those who have already experienced what it has to offer and looked deep into the storyline have probably found some clues about Aloy's future. In any case, Guerrilla Has not officially confirmed that it's working on a new Horizon game, but everything points in that direction. Before that happens, we would love to see Horizon Forbidden West launch on PC, but that will probably take a while.
