Fanatical's Monster Hunter Bundle is back, gearing you up for the upcoming Monster Hunter Wilds
If you want to familiarize yourself with the Monster Hunter series before the release of Monster Hunter Wilds, and you’re on PC, you’re in luck. Fanatical has introduced a new Monster Hunter bundle that allows you to choose which games you want.
Included in this bundle, you can purchase Monster Hunter Rise along with its Sunbreak DLC for only £10/$10/10€. Alternatively, there’s the full collection available for £24.99/$24.99/24,99€, though it’s worth noting that Fanatical counts the ‘Deluxe Kit’ DLC sets as separate games, making that deal seem better than it truly is. We believe the best value option is the combination of Monster Hunter Rise + Sunbreak DLC along with Monster Hunter World and its Iceborne DLC, which totals £18/$18/18€.
For those interested in customization, each of the first two items costs £5.00/$5.00/5,00€, while selecting four or more brings the price down to £4.50/$4.50/4,50€ each. If you go for eight items, the price drops even further to £3.12/£3.12/3,12€ each. Here’s the selection available:
- Monster Hunter Rise
- Monster Hunter Rise Deluxe Kit
- Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak expansion
- Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Deluxe Kit
- Monster Hunter World
- Monster Hunter World Deluxe Kit
- Monster Hunter World Iceborne expansion
- Monster Hunter World Iceborne Deluxe Kit
While the idea of opting for the eight-game package may be appealing, the last two games, Monster Hunter Rise and Monster Hunter World, and their expansions Iceborne and Sunbreak respectively offer the most universal appeal and the latest gameplay enhancements. Previously, the Monster Hunter series didn’t attract much interest outside of Japan and a small Western audience, largely due to its notoriously tough gameplay.
The upcoming edition in the Monster Hunter franchise, Monster Hunter Wilds, is scheduled to be released on February 28, 2025, and it has already created a buzz during its early open beta tests, drawing in over 450,000 participants. Although it’s not essential to play earlier Monster Hunter titles before diving into the new sequel, having that background can provide a useful introduction to the fundamental mechanics, as Wilds will expand on many of the same gameplay features and core concepts found in its predecessors.
