Fallout 25th anniversary brings many surprises
Believe it or not but it's been already 25 years since the first Fallout was released. The series has evolved a lot over the years, abandoning its turn-based RPG origins to set the current foundations of its shape and join the genre of action role-playing games in 2008, when Bethesda Softworks launched Fallout 3. From there, Fallout: New Vegas and Fallout 4 improved the gameplay experience, and Fallout 76 brought a new approach to the franchise by becoming its first online multiplayer game.
Bethesda is celebrating the 25th anniversary of Fallout with a series of events that will take the whole month. First of all, you can play Fallout 76 for free until October 11 from today. The game offers you to explore the unique post-apocalyptic setting of West Virginia as a dweller of the Vault 76 that not only has to face perilous situations in a world that is completely new, but also interact with other players, which opens a new range of opportunities in the game.
Also, if you are a Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, you are entitled to one month of the Fallout 1st paid service. Prime Gaming subscribers can get the PC version of Fallout 76 for free until November 1st as part of their membership. If you prefer free-to-play benefits, Fallout Shelter players will soon get a new update adding new enemies weapons, and more.
If you want to know all the details about the celebration, you can check out the official post on Fallout 25th anniversary. As usual, the best place to visit if you want to buy any Fallout games is our comparator, where you can find titles like Fallout 76 cheap.
