Our selection of games worth keeping on the radar

Another week means another batch of games worth keeping an eye on. dLcompare Weekly Recap #14 is here, bringing together ten very different titles in a compact tour through our selection of most interesting games. From an incremental platformer and a mysterious fantasy adventure to major releases such as SILENT HILL: Townfall, CONTROL Resonant and EA SPORTS FC 27, the selection is quite varied and features some big hits.

Our highlights

The new episode opens with IGTAP: an Incremental Game That's Also a Platformer. The game mixes incremental progression with platforming, creating an unusual combination where traditional jumping and exploration meet the addictive loop of watching numbers and upgrades steadily grow. It is certainly one of the more unconventional games in this week's recap.

The Piper of Dawn is a farming simulator with a magic touch and anime-like graphics that offers a dark story with multiple endings. Alchemy, city management, and mini-games are the highlights of an adventure that stars six different heroines.

Meanwhile, World Apart offers an experience that combines realistic graphics and AI-controlled characters in a RPG adventure that is all about cultivation and empowerment. With its Eastern inspiration, the game lets you create your own path to immprtality.

Things take a darker turn with SILENT HILL: Townfall. The latest entry in Konami's iconic psychological horror series is one of the biggest names in the recap. Developed by No Code and published by Konami, Townfall takes the franchise in a new direction, taking the action to a new setting. It still retains the oppressive atmosphere and psychological horror that have made the Silent Hill series a favourite of horror fans. 

Strategy fans get their share of fun with Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis TD, the latest tower-defense adventure in the popular Kingdom Rush series. The game blends tactical tower placement, colorful fantasy worlds and increasingly demanding waves of enemies in an epic adventure.

Heroes' Vow: Three Kingdoms brings the legendary Three Kingdoms setting into the spotlight. The game offers an experience focused on strategy and inspired by one of the most famous periods in Chinese history. It gives players access to a variety of famous heroes and lets them navigate through the political and military conflicts associated with the era.

If running a fashion business sounds more appealing than commanding armies, Dressmaker offers a rather different proposition. The game puts players in the world of clothing and design, offering a detailed job simulation with cute graphics and a lot of appeal.

Then comes one of the week's biggest releases: CONTROL Resonant. Remedy Entertainment's supernatural action game expands the CONTROL universe with a new adventure packed with strange phenomena and paranormal powers. Dylan Faden is the protagonist of a cinematic story with combats that feel totally unreal. The new adventure takes the series into a new direction with gameplay more focused on action and melee combat.

Graveyard Keeper 2, the follow-up to the popular cemetery-management simulation, has caught the eye of many players. The game offers an unusual combination of management, crafting, exploration mechanics with a good dose of dark humor. If the idea of turning a medieval graveyard into a thriving enterprise sounds like a perfectly reasonable career choice to you, this sequel is something you need to try., this sequel is ready to make the proposition even stranger.

Finally, the Weekly Recap rounds things off with EA SPORTS FC 27, the latest installment in EA's long-running football simulation franchise. The game totally changes its Clubs experience with The Grounds, which acts as a hub for a plethora of football-related activities. Also, it maintains the most popular gameplay modes and introduces new enhancements that make the experience more immersive than ever.
