Darksiders games and Steep are free for a limited time

It's well known that Epic Games has been giving away free games on their store through all of 2019. If you managed to grab all the games that have been available for free through the year you probably have a good amount of them, especially since there was a new title available every day during the last twelve days. But nobody knew if this policy was going to continue in 2020, and it turns out that you will keep getting games on Epic Games Store for free at least for a week longer. You can claim Darksiders Warmastered Edition, Darksider II Dathinitive Edition, and Steep for free until January 9.

Daksiders Warmastered Edition and Darksiders II will put you in the skin of two of the Horsemen of Apocalypse. On the first title, War is falsely accused of terrible crimes and has to go back to Earth to claim vengeance and restore his honor. He will have to fight hordes of demons to punish those responsible for his situation and to do so he has at his disposal a huge arsenal of weapons and powers as well as the aid of his fiery phantom steed, Ruin. At the same time in Darksiders II, Death is sure of the innocence of his brother, and he decides to embark on a mission to erase the sins of War, who is accused of wiping out humanity. Both games feature interactive puzzles and spectacular combat full of action, and they are a good way of immersing yourself in the world of Darksiders before you give a try to the recently launched Darksiders Genesis, for example.

If you are more into sports games you can also get Steep for free. It's a very appropriate game at this time of the year since it will let you experience all the thrill of practicing winter extreme sport in the beautiful environment of the Alps. This multiplayer online game will let you share an open world and compete against other players in several activities that include skiing, snowboarding, paragliding, and wingsuit flying. If you like the game, there are plenty of DLC available for it that comes with other locations and disciplines to explore.

All three games are available for free on Epic Games Store until January 9, 2020.
