Conqueror’s Blade will be open to everyone this weekend
Developed by Booming Games, Conqueror's Blade is a free-to-play medieval and tactical MMO that is coming soon. If no specific release date is known, the wait should not be long, because according to the game page in Steam the game release would be scheduled for May 2019. Conqueror's Blade offers a realistic approach to large-scale battles and allows you to embody, not a simple soldier, but a Warlord. You start the adventure by creating your character. Besides the visual customization of your avatar, you will have to choose your faction, or rather your culture. You can embody an Asian, European or Oriental warrior. Others should be added later, including the Vikings. The choice of your culture will have an impact not only on your character, but also on the visual aspect of your units, your territory, and your castle. In terms of specialization, Conqueror's Blade chooses a different approach from most MMOs. Rather than choosing a class, you will choose a weapons specialization. Going through the ax, the musket or the bow, ten classes of weapons are available in total, and you can then specialize in up to six different classes.
In terms of gameplay Conqueror's Blade offers a variety of things to do. You will be able to take part in PvP battles for up to fifteen against fifteen players, but also experience PvE with the fortress. You can also gather resources to make equipment, either by finding them in the world around you or by attacking other players. The game has a neutral zone in which you can improve your character via the talent tree while in peace. When you leave this area, danger will be present at each crossing. You can also create alliances with other players to defeat your enemies.
If all this has made your mouth water, you should know that you can try for free Conqueror's Blade from April 12 at 16h (Paris time) until April 15 at 10 am. If the game is intended to be free to play, it is, however, possible to buy founding packs that allow you to benefit from various bonuses. Anyone who has pre-ordered one of these packs will be able to access the private beta called Chaos Printanier from April 15 to 20, which introduces a number of novelties in the game.
