Epic Games breaks records and offers two new free games

We tend to forget that Epic Games is not just Fortnite. Even if the game is one of the most popular today, the company has not become the giant it is in just a snap of the fingers. Epic Games notably stood out thanks to its engine, The Unreal Engine, whose fifth version was recently revealed causing quite a sensation. But it must be recognized that Epic Games has literally multiplied its relevance since the release of its launcher in 2018, in particular thanks to the fact that it offers free games almost every week.

They did very well last month, offering free copies of Civilization VI, Borderlands, ARK: Survival Evolved, and especially GTA 5, which allowed the company to break user connection records and caused some problems on their service due to the massive amount of players that tried to get the game.

This week, the games that you can get for free are not so popular but they still are quite interesting. Starting today and for a whole week, you can get AER Memories of Old and Stranger Things 3: The Game.

AER Memories of Old is an adventure and exploration game that puts you in the shoes of a bird, allowing you to explore an open world made up of floating islands. But this world is threatened by darkness, and since you are one of the very few ones with the power to transform yourself and fly through the skies to explore the ruins of the ancient gods, it is up to you to protect the world, discovering its secrets by solving puzzles.

Stranger Things 3: The Game is the official game based on the eponymous series. It will allow you to experience the third season of Stranger Things with retro aesthetics that are in line with the series. You can embody the most emblematic characters and even discover new scenes while fighting against the forces of the Upside Down. It also features a co-op mode for two players.

AER Memories of Old and Stranger Things 3: The Game are available for free today and for a whole week. As usual, to enjoy them you just have to visit Epic Games Store and add them to your library.
