Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has been leaked in the most unexpected way
Keeping the development of a videogame secret is becoming quite an impossible task nowadays. Everyone has a camera on their telephones and access to the internet, so no matter how careful you want to be the possibility of a leak is quite high. It gets even more complicated when the matter involves third parties and usually, we see leaks that come from the websites or online shops and such. But Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has just inaugurated a new type of leaks by being revealed thanks to a bag of Doritos.
Yeah, the popular snack has been the origin of the leak and the news has obviously spread throughout the internet very quickly. The leak consists of a picture shared on Twitter in which we can see information about a Doritos promotion.

The picture, not only reveals Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War name and its logo, but also gives us some clues that hint the release date of the game. The promotion would start on October 5 and it would allow players to earn codes to get double XP in the game, with a chance of getting a big prize that will grant them double XP through a whole year. Therefore, it would be logical that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War was already released by October 5 or that it would be available exactly on that date.
As you can imagine, there is no official reaction to this leak yet, but it is quite likely that we start seeing more information about the new game in the Call of Duty: Black Ops series in the following weeks if the release date is so close.
Of course, if you want to keep yourself busy until Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a good option and you can even try its free-to-play Battle Royale version with Call of Duty: Warzone.
