Nvidia's RTX 5060 series launches next month, with a reveal coming soon
According to the source MEGAsizeGPU, Nvidia is expected to announce its RTX 5060 series graphics cards “in roughly 10 days.” This lineup aligns perfectly with the upcoming GTC 2025 announcement. Nvidia’s GTC 2025 keynote is scheduled for March 18th, which could serve as an ideal opportunity for the unveiling of its next GPU.
The launch of Nvidia’s RTX 5060 family of graphics cards is anticipated to occur approximately a month after the announcement. This timeline suggests a release in mid to late April.
Recent speculation indicates that Nvidia’s upcoming RTX 5060 Ti will be available in both 8GB and 16GB variants. Additionally, it has been reported that Nvidia’s partners will have the option to utilize 8-pin GPU power connectors for these budget-friendly GPU models.
The RTX5060 family will be released in about 10 days but will be on the shelf a month later.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 will utilize the "PG162 SKU 25" PCB, featuring a maximum of 8 GB of memory. The RTX 5050 is projected to have a total board power (TBP) of 145W and is said to arrive in April. It’s important to note that the RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB versions are also set to launch in April, likely in the first half, while the RTX 5060 8 GB models are expected to come out in the latter half of April.
With Nvidia transitioning to GDDR7 memory in its RTX 50 series graphics cards, the RTX 5060 series is expected to experience significantly less memory bandwidth limitations compared to prior models. Featuring 28 Gbps GDDR7 memory, Nvidia’s RTX 5060 will boast 55% more memory bandwidth than its forerunners. This is excellent news for gamers, as this increase in bandwidth should alleviate memory performance as a potential hurdle, at least for standard gaming performance.
